About Us

Situated along a lively lane in south central Delhi, is our family home for over 4 decades, which we’ve lovingly named ‘Lifetree’. It will be our honour to welcome you to our home, not as guests but as part of our family.

The bed and breakfast was established in 2010, after our son moved out to run his own B&B in Saket, New Delhi. We decided to offer our four spacious and airy rooms to guests and have never looked back.

The location is as good as it gets. Steps away from one of the most famous bazaars of Delhi (Central Market), we have stations of two Metro lines (Violet and Pink) at 10 mins walking distance. Travel time to Connaught Place is 15 mins and to the Red Fort, 25 mins.

Managing the property is Mrs. Bajaj, a kindly grandmother, who loves to meet people and is a very warm and gracious host. She is assisted by two helpers, who ensure that the place is clean and well kept.

Refund and Cancellation:

Full refund if booking is cancelled 15 days prior to arrival.
50% refund if cancellation received between 15 days and 7 days before arrival.

No refund if intimation of cancellation communicated 7 days or less from arrival, or in case of no notice from guest / no show.

Last minute date change may be allowed at sole discretion of TOL management

Early check in (6 am to 12 noon)
Late check out (12 noon to 8 pm)

Both cost an extra half day. Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night. If you require access to your room before 8 am, then please book the previous night. For guests already staying with us, on the day of departure, if the room is required after 8 PM, then please book the night after.

In case of early check in (6 am to 12 Noon), you may have to wait before the earlier guest checks out and room gets cleaned. In the mean time you are welcome to enjoy, relax in the lounge or on the terrace, surf the net, order food.

Both early check ins and late check outs cannot be promised and are subject to availability.

No cancellation / discount requests will be entertained for delays caused by any third party (airlines, railways, road transport, etc). In case stay is cut short, full charge for the booked dates will have to be paid.

Faq's

Q : If I need to head to the centre of town / Old Delhi, which is the most convenient way?
A : The Metro station is a mere 10 minutes walk from the B&B. It will take 15 – 25 mins to reach Connaught Place / Old Delhi in air conditioned comfort.
However, the concept of a heading to the traditional centre of town is changing with the opening three new world class malls and top restaurants, located just 10 minutes away.
A : The building is a 3 storied bungalow with the first floor and second floor being used as the bed and breakfast. The ground floor has the dining and living room in addition to the kitchen.
